As many of you know, Terri Shiavo has died. Requiescat in pace and may God have mercy on those who did this to her.
It is raining cats and dogs here in the Twin Cities. I decided to be aesthetic and wear sandles today, about ten minutes into my Latin class a nice little down-pour began and it has going since. In other news Bishop Aquila presided and preached this morning, it was a delight to hear from him and be able to see him. He is a great priest and I look forward to having him as my temporary bishop.
Since my Diocesan brother Deacon Christensen has added my blog to his page, I figured I should update mine. As you can see my blog has not been updated since my last post in December. I can't promise much but, I'll give it my best. I've got a medieval philosophy exam on thursday which I need to begin working on. I also need to get to some Latin. On a more joyous note, I will hopefully meet my diocesan administrator Bishop Samuel Aquila from the diocese of Fargo. He will be staying here at the seminary for a few days. This is my first day back from Easter break. I spent some time at the high school that I went to, speaking to a few religion classes. I read for the televised Mass, it was odd reading the easter readings from the teleprompter, but all went well. I served at Christ the King for the Triduum and was happy to see 8 people welcomed into the Church. Christ is risen, alleluia.
